Micropos - Options & Upgrades

As MICROPOS is a computer-based system it is possible to add extra software and hardware to it in the future. Several options are described below:

Handheld Data Capture Units

We can link to handheld data units, so you can walk around the shop whilst preparing an order, checking prices or stocktaking.

EFTPOS - Credit Card Payments

If you take credit cards payments, we have an Electronic Funds Transfer package which can sit on your MICROPOS terminal, allowing you to check the validity of the card and automatically send your transactions to the bank overnight.

Weighing Scales

A selection of weighing scales can be linked directly to MICROPOS to accurately manage your loose-weighed products.

Networking

MICROPOS has been designed around an ‘open system’ philosophy, allowing the system to be expanded at any time in the future using any industry standard networking software, thereby protecting your
investment in EPOS.
